Tree Removal

A massive old maple lost a large limb on my house during a crazy microburst. The tree was cracked beyond saving and needed to come down immediately. I called several arborists and tree services in the Hillsborough area and chose Abair—not only for the fair price, but because of his confidence. He wasn't at all overwhelmed by the size of the tree or its close proximity to the house. He was professional from the initial handshake and quote to the final cleanup, which included complete tree removal, debris hauling, stump grinding, and blowing the yard. I'm super impressed and so relieved I don't have to worry every time the wind blows! I highly recommend

Abair promptly quoted us on the removal of a tree that was at risk of falling in our driveway. Squeezed us into the schedule the very next day for removal. The crew did an excellent job with the cleanup as well.

I don’t know if it was windshear or microburst. But it was very sudden. And a large limb fell across the yard blocking entrance to driveway and front door of the house. We called and Jodi answered our questions and helped us calm down. Ron was at the house within a hour with chainsaws, large truck, and bobcat. He completely cleared a path to the front door. The next day 2 very great guys came with a large truck and chipper and saws and rakes. I knew that at 82 if I needed Emergency help that now they could get to me in the house. I want to say “Thank You”. You were great!

We had an awesome experience with Ron and his team. They were right on time, worked incredibly quickly, and transformed our yard. They removed several trees, trimmed overgrown branches, cleared out old brush, and even tackled an area of tangled bushes and rock, leveling everything out. Ron was fantastic and explained everything to us beforehand. It’s clear he’s truly passionate about his work. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend them!

We had about 20 trees taken down in November 2025 (Yes, I waited far too long to leave this review!). These guys are nothing short of amazing! Ron, Jodi, family and crew...you guys rock! Would absolutely recommend! We originally had them come out to quote us on 6-7 trees and price was very reasonable. We ended up wanting to get more (and then even more!) trees taken down and they were more than responsive and accommodating. We did need a larger crane to take out some trees in back of our house due to the reach needed. The crane they brought was massive! We live in a heavily wooded area, dirt roads, and they were able to place the crane perfectly to get the job done...beyond impressed! Their crew worked fast, efficiently and got rid of all the trees hanging into our yard. Giving us way more sunlight and way less acorns lol! A+++ guys! 👍

Jodi, as well as Ron, Ryan and Jamison (Patrick) were responsive accommodating and courteous. Great communication, highly professional. The job itself was executed with precision and care from the first cut until they rolled out of the driveway. I can confidently recommend to others! Totally 5 Stars.

Ron from Abair Tree Service came out within a day of calling, to give us a quote on 8 trees to be removed. Their price was extremely reasonable and Ron explained in detail how they would do it. Within a week Ron and his crew were here. The first day we added 4 more trees. They had to work around a house, a barn, 2 car shelters, and electrical wire on either side of some of the trees. They did a fantastic job, and clean up was great. The whole crew worked so well together. I will be hiring them again in the future. You can't get a better tree service than Abair!

Abair tree service is a great company to work with. Not only did they remove hard to reach tree limbs near power lines but they cleaned the area up and even installed a rock wall and granite mailbox post. Highly recommend, the owner is an honest guy and they have fair prices

Just had about 30 trees removed and can’t say enough positive about the service and the job well done. The crew worked together flawlessly, and the trees all came down where they directed them with no incidents. Chipped and cleaned up the with minimal damage to the property.
